Project Overview

7MD Store is a sophisticated multi-category eCommerce platform headquartered in the UAE, designed to serve a discerning customer base seeking exclusive electronics, home essentials, and lifestyle products that are often unavailable through mainstream retail channels. The platform was built from the ground up with a focus on product curation, competitive pricing transparency, and a seamless global delivery experience. Backed by a powerful Laravel engine and a dynamic Vue.js frontend, the store manages thousands of SKUs across dozens of categories while maintaining lightning-fast page loads and intuitive navigation. The deep integration with Odoo ERP ensures that inventory levels, order statuses, and financial reporting are synchronized in real time, eliminating manual reconciliation and reducing fulfillment errors to near zero.

The Challenge

Our Approach

We conducted a thorough audit of the existing platform, identifying bottlenecks in inventory management, checkout flow, and mobile responsiveness. The new architecture was designed around a headless approach with Laravel serving as the API backbone and Vue.js delivering a reactive, app-like frontend experience. Odoo ERP was selected and integrated for end-to-end operations management.

The Solution

The rebuilt platform features a high-performance product catalog with faceted search, real-time inventory synchronization through Odoo, multi-currency support for international shoppers, and automated shipping cost calculations based on destination and package dimensions. An admin dashboard provides the client with full control over product listings, pricing, promotions, and customer communications.
