Project Overview
Your Personal Shopper (YPS) is a cross-border shopping and parcel forwarding platform that opens up international online retail to customers worldwide. The platform provides users with virtual shipping addresses in the UK and other key shopping destinations, enabling them to purchase from retailers that don't offer international shipping. Once packages arrive at the YPS warehouse, customers can consolidate multiple packages into a single shipment, significantly reducing international shipping costs. The platform features real-time package tracking from warehouse receipt to final delivery, a built-in duty and tax calculator to eliminate customs surprises, and subscription plans that offer discounted rates for frequent shoppers. The entire workflow—from address assignment to delivery confirmation—is managed through an intuitive dashboard that keeps customers informed at every stage.
The Challenge
International shoppers frequently encounter retailers that restrict shipping to domestic addresses only, leaving global customers unable to access products they want. Even when international shipping is available, costs are often prohibitive, customs procedures are confusing, and tracking visibility ends once packages leave the origin country.
